Though I was thrilled to graduate college this past May, I have to say, some part of me is jealous of everyone who gets to decorate their dorms this fall. The FOMO really started setting in once I laid eyes on Target’s 2026 dorm collection, which is overflowing with incredibly on-trend decor to shop for the upcoming school year, including bedding, picture frames, lamps, pillows, mirrors, towels, jewelry trays, vases, poster prints, storage organizers, and so much more. They all feature the cutest details, from ruched and pleated textures to delicate floral prints and academia-inspired plaids. I almost want to find an excuse to snag one or two of these items for my post-college space!

You can never have too many catchalls for jewelry and little odds and ends. This chic brown tortoise tray is everything! I’d personally use it to display perfume.

I wish I’d had this storage ottoman when I was in college. It’s so precious and with a minimal design that features little pink tulips, perfect for the floral cottagecore lovers. These are great for hiding any mess in your room and to store things like shoes, sweatshirts, or pajamas.

I have a dachshund obsession, so when I saw this adorable rattan dog-shaped pencil holder, I knew I needed it now. I love how it stands on its own and you can use it for things besides pencils, like jewelry or hair accessories.

Trend Pleated Double Shade Small Dot White

From fashion to home decor, polka dots are so in right now! They’re just so elegant and whimsical, and this pleated lamp is the perfect way to bring some of that timeless energy (and non-big light lighting) into your room.

5'x7' Floral Grid Dorm Area Rug Pink

Rugs can be surprisingly expensive and hard to find, but this floral patchwork one is comparatively reasonable at $50 for a 5’x7’ size, and it’s so pretty! I like that the subdued colors can complement so many different styles, especially the earthy boho aesthetic.

This antique-looking brass cup is for anyone who loves a  vintage vibe. If you’re looking to channel the yearning aesthetic, this is such a sweet addition to your desk, vanity, or bedside table. As for how you use it, that’s totally up to you — stash makeup brushes or craft supplies, or fresh (it is watertight!) or dried flowers! It measures 4.5 inches tall by 3.62 inches wide.
