If you haven’t shopped Walmart’s Bettergoods brand, the next time you head to one of its stores you’ll want to give it a try. This private label promises quality, trend-forward, and chef-inspired food, with most items in the lineup priced under $5 — everything from cookie butter-filled chocolate bars to s’mores spread to coconut lime sparkling water. Recently, a popular new snack from this collection was restocked, and people are racing to get their hands on it.

Next time you head to Walmart, make sure to stop by the snack aisle and grab a bag (or two!) of the brand’s Smoked Gouda Mac N’ Cheese Flavored Wavy Potato Chips. They’re inspired by a comfort food classic, and they’re sure to win over the hearts of any cheese-lover.

One eight-ounce bag costs $2.44, and that’ll get you a pouch full of wavy potato chips dusted with smoked Gouda and buttery flavors. On the ingredient label, you’ll spot that they’re seasoned with buttermilk powder, garlic powder, and onion powder to give the crisps a savory taste.

Creator @junkfoodinthetrunk3, who posts about the latest snack finds, shared the news about Walmart bringing these mac and cheese chips back. People rushed to the comment section, saying that these crisps are “so good” and that they’re “curious about these.”

Once you grab a bag of these mac and cheese-flavored chips from Walmart, pair them with a delicious homemade dip like seven-layer dip, French onion dip, or Buffalo chicken dip

Walmart’s Bettergoods brand has tons of potato chips on shelves right now, including Carolina Gold Style BBQ Flavored Kettle Potato Chips, Hatch Chile Tortilla Chips, and Red Pacific Sea Salt Potato Chips. So, if you’re looking to load up on snacks, you’ll definitely want to head to a location close to you and try out its exciting lineup.

From the moment I started remixing ramen noodles into gourmet meals and spending hours watching cooking shows as a puny six-year-old, I knew I found a deep passion for food. While I realized — after taking on a two-year high school internship in an award-winning kitchen — that a restaurant wouldn't be my forever home, I knew the world of food would. I graduated from Syracuse University as their first-ever food studies major, researching policies contributing to equitable food systems. From there, I went on to work for various food non-profits, CPGs, farms, and tech companies. Over the past few years, I pivoted to food writing and producing full-time as a freelancer, with words and podcast episodes showing up in Eater, America's Test Kitchen, Cuisine Noir, Serious Eats, Food & Wine, and Food52. I love creating easily digestible (sometimes geeky) but always fun or important news stories and testing recipes in my kitchen.
