Tiny chairs are about to become the next major decor trend — and you had me at both “tiny” and “chair.”

I love a good trinket dish, and I don’t think I’m alone. I’ve spotted a lot of TikToks people have posted recently of their favorite finds from the trinket section at Urban Outfitters. It feels like the options are endless, and they fit any aesthetic.

Jas (@itsjasuwu) made one of these TikToks showing off UO’s cool trinkets, even captioning the video “trinket heaven.” So true. In the TikTok, you can see Snoopy keychains, a cake trinket, and a bow tray. I love!

In another video titled “run to Urban Outfitters,” Annie (@atelalyan) highlights the store’s trinket dish varieties, including an oyster catch-all dish, sardine trinket box, and — wait for it — a chair trinket dish. Yes, a tiny chair!

The vintage-inspired Amelie Chair Trinket Dish costs $20 and is every coastal granddaughter and cottagecore fan’s dream. Its dimensions are 4.3 inches by 3.6 inches by 4.3 inches. The tiny chair is made of stoneware and comes in pink with red florals or white with blue florals, both with minimal gold details. The cutest part, though, is that the seat cushion comes off so you can store whatever you want inside.

Personally, I would use this as a jewelry box. It’s a nice way to combine decor with storage. It’s also something you wouldn’t see in many homes so you would get all the compliments! “Such a great hiding place for rings and such. I love this trinket chair so much!” one customer wrote in UO’s review section.

Little trinkets like this add so much character to a room — and, really, any room, because trinkets can go anywhere in a home (on a desk, dresser, bedside table, kitchen shelf, and beyond). They’re the perfect way to showcase what you love. Plus, trinkets often have a story, so they’re perfect conversation-starters. When they’re as adorable and multipurpose as this tiny chair, I think they are absolutely worth it!

Isabel is an incoming sophomore at the University of Vermont. She is studying public communication. She grew up in Portsmouth, Rhode Island, where she frequented the beach often during the summer. Even though her heart belongs to the ocean, the mountains are becoming a close contender. Her favorite part of living in Burlington, Vermont, for college is its unique coffee shops. Her perfect day would consist of going to a cute café in the morning, then spending the day at the beach swimming and reading, then ending the day by shopping and getting dressed up for a nice dinner downtown. Through Dorm Therapy, Isabel is excited to be a voice for young adults embarking on their college journeys and she hopes to make this big transition of life more comfortable for others in the same place as her.
