If you’ve had Taylor Swift’s newest album, The Life of a Showgirl, on repeat since October 3, I can totally relate. With songs like “Elizabeth Taylor” and “The Fate of Ophelia” stuck in my head, it was only natural for the Showgirl vibes to show up on my phone. My phone screen, more specifically.

With the glamorous photos and vinyl variants that Swift shared alongside her album rollout, it’s only natural to channel the showgirl aesthetic yourself. Sure, you could buy merch like an orange cardigan or express your music taste with Taylor Swift dorm decor. But if you want a quick and easy way to show off your Swiftie status, you can personalize your phone to fit the aesthetic of the new album. Using the Shuffles app from Pinterest, here’s how you can make the cutest phone wallpaper collage on your phone.

How to Create a Taylor Swift Showgirl Phone Wallpaper

To design the cutest Showgirl-esque collage, open the Shuffles app on your phone and create a new template. If you’ve never used Shuffles before, no need to worry. The app has a very user-friendly interface, with thousands of Pinterest images at your disposal each time you start a new project. Simply press the large purple button in the bottom center of the app to start a new wallpaper and start adding pictures using the search button on the bottom left corner.

For your Taylor Swift wallpaper, I’d opt for a sparkly orange image to capture the album’s essence. Then, add a block of a green satin graphic in one of the corners to diversify the colors and textures for the end result.

With your background set, add a few vintage stickers of women dawning glittering outfits and feather headpieces. If you really want to bring a fitting album reference in, I’d suggest adding an iconic image of Elizabeth Taylor to your collage as well. Near the top-left corner, select a photo of Taylor Swift’s unforgettable album cover layered under some stickers of lipstick, handheld mirrors, feather boas, and any other glam accessories you like. (Pro tip: Make sure to leave a bit of space at the top blank, as it will likely be covered up when you apply the image to your lock screen.)

If you really want to make this lock screen your own, finish it off by including your favorite quote or song title from the album in the center of your collage. You can see a finished version on Dorm Therapy’s Pinterest.

How to Set Your Taylor Swift Showgirl Wallpaper as Your Lock Screen

Once you’re done with your wallpaper design, press the arrow in the right-hand corner, and then export it right to your camera roll. With your wallpaper saved to your photos, you can apply it to your lock screen and voilà! Your phone has entered its Showgirl era.

Most phones let you further customize your lock screen with widgets and text options, so you can go a step further to really round out the showgirl aesthetic. I have an iPhone and set my clock to “glass” to have an iridescent look that doesn’t cover up my newly made background. I also thinned out the font using the sliding scale on my time widget to more closely match the font on Swift’s album and selected a burnt orange hue (forest green would work as well!).

The last step is to add your preferred music widget at the bottom of your screen, so that you’ll have easy access to your favorite songs at any time.
