After exciting weeks of decoding hints and counting down to vinyl announcements, Taylor Swift fans can rejoice: Swift’s 12th studio album, The Life of a Showgirl, is finally here! It dropped on October 3, and now we now what all those song titles mean.

Swift also shared brand new photos for the release, including a snap in a sparkly orange gown, and they offer a closer look into The Life of a Showgirl era aesthetic. Given that Swift had been using a fire heart emoji leading up to the drop in connection with the album, and the teasers and album art were very showgirl-focused, we can see this new era is dramatic and vibrant, and one of the main colors is orange — although there are hints of teal and purple popping with different CD and vinyl variants. (But if you listen to the songs, it’s mainly an era about her love story with Kelce, with a few revenge bops mixed in)

When Swift announced the album on the Kelce brothers’ New Heights podcast, she explained this album was written while she was on the Eras Tour, and the bright orange hues show the vibrant energy of her life during that time. “It just comes from the most infectiously joyful, wild, dramatic place I was in in my life, so that effervescence has come through on this record,” Swift said on the podcast.

Whether you’re a freshman or gearing up for your last semester, moving into college can feel a lot like this excitement and “effervescence” that Swift’s new songs will reflect. Fans are expecting this album to be unique and bold. If this is your vibe, here are eight The Life of a Showgirl decor items to help you bring some orange and teal sparkle into your room — for under $150 total.

Sparkles Home Luminous Soap Dish
$17

I couldn’t live without a trinket dish on my nightstand. I rely on it every night to hold my jewelry and hair ties. You could also leave one by your room entrance or on your desk for important items. This orange, sparkly dish is technically for soap, but it’s a perfect size for trinkets and such a beautiful addition to your room, and brings in all the TS12 showgirl vibes.

VBGYA Knot Pillow Ball
$19$18

One of the easiest places to add some themed decor in your room is on your bed with fun pillows. This knot accent pillow is so fun and comfortable to lay on, and the teal color matches the TS12 color scheme perfectly. Plus, it totally looks like a cozy addition a globe-trotting superstar would keep in her greenroom.

Orange Heart and Hand Statue
$26

Would it be a Taylor Swift room without her iconic hand-heart pose? On the podcast episode announcing The Life of a Showgirl, Taylor’s boyfriend, Travis Kelce, mentioned the new album is much more upbeat than Swift’s last. She responded by saying, “life is more upbeat,” likely because she wrote these songs while falling in love with Travis. The heart hands in this era’s hue just feel right to commemorate the iconic couple’s love (and, let’s face it, how much you’ll probably love this new album).

Vintage Retro Disco Ball Decor
$13

If there’s anything consistent across Swift’s eras, it’s a hint of glitter. I love the fact that she is embracing glitter and retro Hollywood in this new era — it wouldn’t feel like her without “making the whole place shimmer,” and this wall art will do exactly that!

Luxury Capri Travel Book Box
$40$30

A bright coffee table book is such a fun decorative piece, but this “book” doubles as hidden storage. It’s a great place to hold your valuables, while adding a hint of TS12 orange. The album title, The Life of a Showgirl, is a nod to Swift’s life as a performer while traveling the world on the Eras Tour. Although she didn’t tour in Capri, a showgirl is closely associated with the “dolce vita,” as the book says.

iHery Trendy Newspaper Framed Wall Art
$33$30

This black-and-white newspaper wall art with a “Blank Space” headline gives such showgirl vibes. It’s such a fun piece of decor, and you can tape it up on its own or hang it in a shiny frame. Swift worked on this new album with Max Martin and Shellback, which happen to be the same producers she worked with on 1989. It only feels right to honor that classic album with a showgirl twist!

Pooqla LED Marquee Letter Lights Sign
$10$7

If you want to see your name in bright lights, these marquee-inspired initials are so fun. If your name is short, it would be so cool to spell out your full name on your desk or a floating shelf. These letters totally fit the glamorous aesthetic.

Better Homes & Gardens Artificial Pampas in Ceramic Vase
$14

Of the few images we’ve seen so far, it’s clear Swift has incorporated feathers in this album’s photos to add to the showgirl aesthetic. On the cover of the “It’s Rapturous” edition of The Life of a Showgirl, Swift is posing draped in feathers. This perfect pampas decor find is a practical piece, while still subtly referencing the TS12 vibe.
