I Can’t Get Over the Gorgeousness of This LEGO Set (It Might Be Prettier Than the Real Thing?!)

I absolutely love how flowers keep your space feeling fresh, bright, and energized. When you’re living in a dorm, though, it can be really hard to keep plants alive, and buying new bouquets of fresh flowers all the time can get expensive fast. When I do buy them, more often than not, I find myself having to throw dying flowers out a couple days after buying them. 

One day I was walking around Target, wishing for some flowers for my room when I stumbled upon the LEGO Icons Plum Blossom Flower Decor. It’s the perfect alternative to the real deal because they still bring so much brightness and life to my space — without even having to water or take care of them. 

The LEGO Plum Blossom Flower Decor is a 327-piece LEGO set that you put together to create a gorgeous mini potted plum blossom. It looks as substantial as real flowers, too, measuring 13.5 inches high by 6.5 inches wide. It’s part of the LEGO Botanical Collection, which contains nearly all of your favorite flowers in LEGO form. 

When you put the arrangement together, you create two different brown stems with many different branches that include red and magenta flowers, and small pink buds. You also make a pastel blue flowerpot that has four legs, so it sits sturdily wherever you put it — personally, I have it on my windowsill right by my faux succulents. 

I was first drawn to the LEGO Icons Plum Blossom Flower because of the unique branches and beautiful pastel blue base. It also offered just the right amount of complexity — it took me just under two hours to complete this in one sitting, and the directions were super easy to follow. 

I also love the LEGO Flowers in general because there are so many beautiful designs and assortments to choose from, and you can put them just about anywhere without having to worry about watering them. They make for great gifts, too. With Mother’s Day just around the corner, this is a present that could, literally, last a lifetime. These are also perfect for any friend or family member or friend who has a specific favorite flower, or is just a big fan of all florals.
