These “Expressive” Mini Succulents Are My Favorite Thing in My Room

Three years ago, it was a couple weeks before school started and I was scouring Amazon for cute trinkets and decor, desperate to bring some more life to my home away from home. I wanted to add some sort of color and greenery to my room, but I was worried about being able to keep real plants alive. 

After I searched for “cute fake plants,” my eyes (and heart) were immediately drawn to these adorable OLEEK Fake Succulent Plants. This $26 purchase was the best decision to make, especially since I’ve had these for three years now. 

These adorable mini fake succulent plants are 5 inches tall and 3 inches wide, so they really can fit almost anywhere. Not to mention, these plants have little hanging feet that can dangle perfectly over any ledge you have in your space. And for the cherry on top? The cutie facial expressions they have. 

There are three different versions of these fake succulents on Amazon: smiley faces, goofy faces, and a mixture of both — all of which feature the fun dangling legs. These succulents are perfect for any season, don’t need any maintenance, and never fail to make me smile! 

The succulents are easily my favorite piece of decor I have in my room, and without a doubt the best dorm decor I’ve bought (and now I display them in my apartment!). The dangling legs and quirky expressions add to their whimsy, and at $26 for three, I also think it’s a great deal! From your desk or bookshelf, to windowsill or fireplace mantel, these little succulents make such a sweet little addition — and a great gift, too!
