Love Your College Space? Enter Our TikTok Contest for a Chance to Win $500!

Since Dorm Therapy launched two months ago, we have loved sharing students’ dorm rooms and college living spaces all across the country. Whether your style is more calming and neutral or whimsical and eclectic, if you’re living on campus, off-campus, or at home — basically whatever college living looks like for you — we’re here to offer you tons of help and inspiration.

And now we’re adding a potential prize into the mix, too! From Sept. 12 through Oct. 16, we’re opening submissions for the first-ever Dorm Therapy TikTok Contest! If you’re a college student who’s 18 or older with a really great living space, we want you to enter — and doing so is sooo easy. 

All you’ll need to do is post a video tour of your space on TikTok with the hashtag #dormtherapycontest, and follow and tag @dorm_therapy. Got an amazing organization system? Coffee station? Gallery wall? Show us! We want to see and hear about what makes your space feel like and work for you. (But heads-up that you can’t feature any people in your video or include anything personally identifiable, like a student ID, dorm name, or address.) 

If your entry video is selected to move on to public voting, we’ll send you an email with a form to fill out within three days — so be on the lookout for that in October. 

Then, Dorm Therapy readers will have a chance to check out your video on Dorm Therapy’s TikTok between Oct. 23 at 9 a.m. ET and Nov. 20 at 5 p.m. ET. The Grand Prize Winner will be the student with the video that gets the highest engagement (likes, comments, shares, and saves), and we’ll announce who that student is on Dec. 4. And here’s the detail you’ve probably kept reading for: That champion will receive a $500 cash prize and the chance to be featured on Dorm Therapy’s platforms!
