About Me
Daksha is a sophomore at Columbia University. She studies Political Science & Economics. Her hometown is Lexington, Kentucky where she fell in love with driving on country roads. Though she's switched from driving to taking the subway since coming to New York, she still loves traveling to new places and meeting all kinds of wonderful, unique people. For the latter, journalism has been a key part of her life since she became a reporter at the Columbia Daily Spectator, a student newspaper serving the Columbia and West Harlem community. When not working on her next article, you can find her rewatching Gilmore Girls for the tenth time or playing flute in her orchestral group. As a writer at Dorm Therapy, Daksha is excited to provide the perfect advice for other young people trying to make their way through college.
