Anyone who knows me knows that I am always down for a fun little beverage! I love matcha, iced coffee, and essentially everything else on a cute cafe’s menu. But making daily coffee shop runs isn’t always great for my wallet, so I try to make my favorite drinks at home instead. What started as a way to save money has become one of the best parts of my morning routine.

Part of what keeps me making drinks at home is finding ways to make the experience fun. I’m much more likely to make a matcha at home if it looks just as cute as something I’d get from a cafe. That’s why I’ve been eyeing this Urban Outfitters ceramic sipper. It comes in the cutest patterns and makes any DIY drink look a little more special.

What Is the Urban Outfitters Patterned Matcha Ceramic Sipper?

The Patterned Matcha Ceramic Sipper from Urban Outfitters is a 15-ounce ceramic tumbler designed for both hot and cold drinks — the description specifies it’s for matcha, but you can use it for your favorite drinks. The ceramic tumbler is dishwasher safe (but not microwave safe) and comes in four adorable patterns: pink with stripes, polka dot, cherries, and a bunny holding a giant strawberry (or, a tiny bunny holding a normal strawberry), The built-in sipping spout eliminates the need for a separate straw, making it easy to clean and perfect for everyday use.

Why I Want One for Myself

I’m obsessed with the polka-dotted version of this tumbler in particular. Polka dots are timeless, but they’ve been especially prominent on my feed lately. I am in love with these playful polka dot outfits that creator Isa Baiocchi (@isabaiochi on Instagram) shared, and this tumbler feels like a fun way to incorporate the trend into my daily routine. If you’re not sold on spots, you can choose one of the other charming patterns.

Beyond the design, I love this ceramic sipper because it makes homemade drinks look so cute even without the fancy latte art I might get at a cafe. I also appreciate that this cup reduces the waste of a plastic straw or the need to clean a reusable one, since you can just sip out of the spout. While this tumbler has a 5-star rating on Urban Outfitters, one review points out that since the cup doesn’t have a handle, it’s a little “impractical” for very hot drinks, so I would stick to iced lattes or drinks that aren’t piping hot — and remember, you can’t put this tumbler in the microwave.

It’s easy to clean, practical for everyday use, and undeniably adorable — what more could I ask for?
