It was sophomore year: I was still living in the dorms, and my roommate and I had just gotten back from Thanksgiving break. We were both talking about how much fun we’d had at home decorating for the holidays, and were just kind of in a funk about coming back to campus. Within the hour, we were on our way to Target to decorate our dorm; we needed to bring some joy to our space, and also take a break from studying for finals.

As soon as we walked into Target, we spotted this adorable Target Gigglescape Plush Wreath. It cost just $5, and it was the easiest purchase to make. We’ve had it for three years now, and still love it just as much as the day we brought it home to our dorm. The 2025 version of this super-cute decor is available now, and I can’t recommend it enough.

What Is the Gigglescape Plush Wreath from Target?

This miniature plush holiday wreath is just 6 inches tall and 7 inches wide, so it can really fit anywhere, from your bookshelf to your bed. It’s so soft and stuffed, so it’s perfect for snuggling and decorating with, or even for gifting!

Plus, it’s just too cute. It’s decorated with embroidered colorful lights and a bright red bow on top. It also has the most adorable smile, and its feet help it sit up on its own without having to lean it against anything.

This plush is part of Target’s seasonal holiday collection, so you’ll likely find it in the holiday section or, in some Targets, closer to the front of the store with the other holiday trinkets. You can also order it online or through the Target app!

Why I Love This Plush Wreath Decor

Although we initially bought it for some holiday cheer, my roommate and I decided that the plush was too cute to put away in our under-bed storage after the holidays! We have kept it out all year-round for the past three years of living together, and we’ve even brought it with us from dorm room to dorm room, to now the off-campus apartment we live in together. As I approach one semester left in college, we frequently talk about how we will need to get another one so we can each have our own when we no longer live together.

I love how cute and small it is, so I can easily move it around my apartment to bring some holiday cheer to different spots. Not to mention, it would be such a great affordable Secret Santa gift!

A Few Alternatives to Shop

I am obsessed with Jellycats, but the prices aren’t in my budget right now, which is why the adorable Gigglescape plushes are perfect. Gigglescape has so many plushes to choose from for essentially every occasion. If you’re looking for more holiday-specific options, check out the Christmas tree, poinsettia flower pot, peppermint lollipop, bells with a bow, snowman, candle with holly, and so many more, all for $5.

If you’re looking to splurge a little more on a holiday Jellycat, you can’t go wrong with the Peanut Reindeer or even the Letter to Santa.
