This Cottagecore Wall Decor Is a Perfect Way to Celebrate Your Favorite Memories
Sometimes you want a really cute way to display your memorabilia, rather than simply hanging it up individually or collecting it in a storage box. Having one place where you can organize photos, notes, and other keepsakes all together is a great way to create a piece that’s both functional and decorative. I’m referring, of course, to pinboards.
However, I do struggle to find pinboards that are cute and match my aesthetic. Most of the ones I see are kind of boring and solid brown. This is why I got really excited when I saw this floral-patterned memory board on Target’s website.
It’s an arched collage board that measures 14 inches by 18 inches, with a light wood border and fabric display that’s patterned with little flowers. Criss-crossed cream ribbons, secured by little buttons, are there too to help hold up the items you want to spotlight. And it costs $34.99.
Content creator Ashley Lyn Home (@ashleylynhome) purchased the pinboard and showed off the find in an Instagram Reel, hanging it above a desk. It’s giving cozy, The Holiday-esque cottagecore.
As someone who just got back from studying abroad for four months, this product discovery comes at the perfect time! I’m trying to find a creative and aesthetically-pleasing way to display all the postcards I’ve collected during my travels, and I will definitely keep this pinboard in mind.
I think it’s also a pretty way to collect new summer memorabilia or keepsakes throughout the school year, to then hang up in your college apartment or dorm and be able to look at it every day and reminisce!
