12 Starbucks Secret Menu Drinks That’ll Make You Cheat On Your Go-To Sip (And How to Order Them!)
Everyone has a go-to Starbucks order (Pink Drink for me!), but the not-so-secret Starbucks “secret menu” with off-menu items can easily entice you into trying something different. These drinks aren’t ~official~ menu items as much as they’re creative combinations built by customers and baristas that have gone viral, but they’re delicious all the same.
Since drink hacks and customizations have been going viral for years, I tracked down some of the most popular secret, off-menu drinks, tested a few myself, and I’m sharing exactly how you can order these secret menu sips for yourself.
What Is the Starbucks Secret Menu?
For the longest time, the Starbucks secret menu was really that: a secret. The coffee chain didn’t have anything to do with the drinks, and you couldn’t order them by their “secret menu” name. You’d have to order a Starbucks secret menu drink using exact customizations (like syrups and cold foams) on standard drinks to create a new flavor — that’s still the case for ordering drinks, but now Starbucks has recognized the secret menu.
In July 2025, Starbucks acknowledged the trend by introducing a “secret menu” in its app, featuring a few unique drinks. You can see the new official Starbucks secret menu drinks in the “Inbox” part of your app. The messages include exact ordering directions, since the secret menu is still not an official part of in-store offerings.
Ordering these drinks comes down to knowing exactly what to ask for and explaining it clearly to your barista. If you want to ensure you get the secret menu drink you want, try ordering it on the app to easily add all of your customizations!
How We Found the Starbucks Secret Menu Drinks
This list is a mix of off-menu drinks shared by Starbucks in the app and others that went viral on their own. For the latter category of sips, I started the way most modern-day discoveries happen: scrolling social media. From there, I compared recipes shared across platforms, double-checked ingredient lists, and tested a few in real life.
We’ve tried some of the drinks below, and we’ll continue to update this list with honest reviews of off-menu Starbucks drinks as we try new ones, and share the best ways to order.
Secret Menu Hot Drinks
When a regular hot coffee just won’t hit the spot, try these hacks and customizations to make something totally different (and delicious!).
Nutella Hot Chocolate
OK, this one doesn’t have any coffee in it, but it sounds very tasty. There are a couple different recipes out there for this unofficial sip. Both “recipes” look like the perfect drink for winter vibes.
According to a Starbucks Reddit account, for a grande size, ask for:
- 4 pumps of mocha syrup
- 2 pumps of hazelnut syrup
- Steamed milk
On TikTok, a barista shows it as a grande with:
- 4 pumps of mocha syrup
- 4 pumps of hazelnut syrup
- Steamed almond milk
- Whipped cream
- Chocolate drizzle
Caramel Pumpkin Macchiato
This is a fall must-have on your list. It combines a classic drink with seasonal pumpkin sauce for a cozy drink. You can also order this iced if you’d like. To get it, order:
- A Grande Caramel Macchiato
- Ask for no vanilla syrup
- Add 3 pumps of pumpkin sauce
- Add pumpkin spice topping
Secret Menu Iced Drinks
Teddy Graham Shaken Espresso
While I have yet to dry this drink, it’s been described as an adult version of a graham cracker or snickerdoodle cookie, and I think that sounds absolutely perfect. To order it, you’ll need to ask for:
- A Grande Brown Sugar Shaken Espresso
- Ask for it made with blonde espresso and oat milk
- Add a pump of honey blend
- Add vanilla sweet cream cold foam
- Add a dash of cinnamon on top
Bear-y Nostalgic Iced Chai
In the mood for a similar flavor, but also love a good chai? Try this iced chai, which Starbucks released on its secret menu. It’s meant to taste just like “a certain teddy-bear-shaped graham cracker snack.” To order it, ask for:
- A Grande Iced Chai
- Add crown sugar cream cold foam
- Add cinnamon powder on top
If you want to switch it up even more, former Dorm Therapy intern Kaitlyn Luckoff said when she tried this drink, she thought it might taste even better with the honey blend syrup to offset the cinnamon.
Cookies on Top
Sign me up for anything that includes cookies! This concoction from Starbucks’ summer secret menu is like a drinkable Oreo with a caffeinated kick. To try it, order:
- A Grande Cold Brew
- Add 2 pumps of vanilla syrup
- Add vanilla sweet cream cold foam
Luckoff ranked this the second-best Starbucks secret menu item when it dropped in July 2025, saying it “tasted like a cookies and cream milkshake.”
Delta Cookie
Starbucks dropped this delicious drink inspired by the iconic Biscoff cookie in October 2025. To get your favorite dessert flavors in a sip, order:
- A Grande Brown Sugar Oatmilk Shaken Espresso
- Ask for caramel sauce lining the cup
- Add 1 pump of chai
- Add cinnamon powder on top
Just Add White Mocha
Unpopular opinion, but I prefer white chocolate to classic chocolate, which is why I love ordering this drink Starbucks dropped in the app when I want to shake things up. It tastes like a winter wonderland on ice. To try it, order:
- A Grande Iced Brown Sugar Oatmilk Shaken Espresso
- Add 2 pumps of White Chocolate Mocha Sauce
- Add vanilla sweet cream cold foam
When she tried it, Luckoff said it was a treat that tasted “like a cinnamon roll.”
Lemon, Tea, and Pearls
Ever since Starbucks added their popping pearls to the menu, I’ve been obsessed. This fun drink gives you the best of both worlds: a classic tea flavor with a popping twist. To order this in any size, ask for:
- A Black Tea Lemonade
- Add raspberry-flavored popping pearls
When she tried it Luckoff, ranked it number one for the summer 2025 Starbucks secret menu drinks, and she really liked the pearls. “The raspberry pearls added an extra hint of sweetness without being too overpowering,” she said.
Secret Menu Refreshers
Pretty in Pink and Green
This drink is for all you Wicked fanatics or just overall big lovers of the pink and green color combination. I have tried this, and while I normally do not opt for matcha, I found the balance of flavors refreshing and just sweet enough without being overwhelming. To grab this drink that Starbucks released in its app in any size, you’ll simply need to order:
- A Pink Drink
- Add matcha cold foam
Dragonfruit Glow-Up
This is another one from the July 2025 secret menu drop. It sounds like an odd combination, but I tried it, and it’s actually pretty good. If you’re a fan of sweeter drinks, especially, you’ll like this one. For any size of this one, you’ll order:
- A Mango Dragonfruit Lemonade Refresher
- Ask for it bended peach juice
- Add vanilla sweet cream cold foam
Secret Menu Frappuccinos
When you want a “fun” drink, look no further than a frappuccino.
Red Velvet Cinnamon Roll Frappuccino
There sounds like there is a lot going on in this sweet secret menu drink, but what else did you expect from a frappuccino? To order, ask for:
- A Venti Mocha Frappuccino
- Ask for 2 pumps of mocha sauce
- Ask for 2 pumps of white mocha sauce
- Add 2 pumps each of cinnamon dolce
- Add 2 pumps of raspberry syrup
Barbie Frappuccino
The summer of Barbie is long gone, but you can relive the pink-filled dream with this frozen masterpiece. To order it, ask for:
- A Grande Vanilla Bean Crème Frappuccino blended with 2 scoops of dragonfruit inclusions
- Ask for strawberry or raspberry purée added to the bottom of the cup
- Add whipped cream
- Add dragonfruit inclusions on top
