If you’re anything like me, Love Island USA has taken over your summer — and you’re not mad about it. From Kenzie’s splits to Sincere being less than sincere, it is hard to believe that a month of bombshells, challenges, and Iain Stirling’s witty narrations came to an end on July 12.
What makes Love Island so fun to watch is that it’s basically a combined dating show and social experiment, and it really sparks your wanderlust (hello, Fiji!). Even though Love Island: USA has left screens for this season, there are actually plenty of other TV shows to watch if you’re looking to fill that unique Love Island void.

Too Hot to Handle

Ten singles are placed in a villa (sound familiar?) for one month thinking they are just on a normal dating show. What they don’t know? There is a major rule that, if broken, could cause them to lose $100,000. The aesthetic of this show reminds me so much of Love Island and the twist makes it that much more intriguing to watch. Too Hot to Handle currently has six seasons out, and is available to stream on Netflix.
Bachelor in Paradise

Bachelor in Paradise takes single fan favorites (and not-so-favorites) from the Bachelor franchise and brings them all to an island in Mexico. There, singles try to find a match before the “Rose Ceremony” each week, or else they’re “dumped from the island.” As a Bachelor franchise fan, this is easily my favorite spin-off — and the concept totally mirrors Love Island. Bachelor in Paradise has 10 seasons out, and is available to stream on Hulu.
Are You the One?
Where to watch: Paramount+
While living in a mansion, single men and women are on the mission to find their “perfect match,” as determined by a group of relationship experts in this reality show. If they are able to figure out all 10 pairings, everyone splits a cash prize. The drama of the weekly matching ceremonies feel similar to Love Island’s firepit recouplings, which I love. Are You the One? is available to stream on Paramount+ with nine seasons out.
Temptation Island

Another tropical island dating show, Temptation Island brings four couples together to put their relationships to the test. Once on the island, the couples are split up and are all introduced to singles to “tempt” their relationship. Each week, there are bonfire viewings to see what the other person in the relationship has been up to (very similar to the potential betrayal of “Casa Amor” from Love Island). Temptation Island is available to stream on Netflix, with two seasons out.
FBoy Island

Yes, that is the actual name of the show. FBoy Island brings three women to an island where they are introduced to 24 men to date. The twist: half the men are self-proclaimed “Nice Guys” and the other half are “FBoys.” The women must deduce who is genuine and who isn’t for a chance to win $100,000. FBoy Island has three seasons out, and is available to stream on Prime Video.
