It’s officially fall and my housemates and I have been brainstorming fun autumn-y crafts to spruce up our college home.

How perfect, then, that this funky pinkoween wreath is getting so much love on TikTok? It looks both adorable and easy. It’s basically like if bow girl summer, the disco ball trend, and the cute ghost trend had a baby.

TikToker Manda Hansen (@mandacreatespretty) originally made a DIY pink pumpkin wreath for her front door in 2022, and that TikTok received almost 38,000 views. She’s been making pink boa wreaths ever since. And for this year’s front door wreath, she included disco balls and pink bows because, well, of course.

Want to make your own version of Hansen’s pinkoween wreath for your dorm, apartment, or house door? To start, you’ll need a wreath ring. Hansen used a wire ring in her original video, but a foam ring in the most recent one. I also think cutting out a frame from cardboard would do the job since you won’t see the frame once you cover it in festive decorations!

Next, you’ll need a boa and little fall trinkets. Either wrap your boa around the ring first, or attach the fun fall items. In her first video, Hansen glues down mini faux pumpkins first and then wraps the boa around them; in the second video, she attaches the boa first and then uses wire to secure the items to the foam base, and glue to attach other pieces. Either method seems relatively easy and mess-free to me.

As for your fun decor trinkets, Michaels has an eight-pack of these beaded fake mini pumpkins for $4.99. I also found these disco ball pumpkins on Amazon for $17.99 — so perfect to jazz up a college space — as well as these mini bat and spider decorations for $6.78 and these adorable mini witches’ hats and brooms for $12.99. You will also obviously need a feather boa, and I feel like a pink boa is the right way to go, but do what feels right for you!

The end result is a truly fabulous, fluffy wreath to hang on your door — it’s really giving “pinkoween” as well as “falloween,” as Hansen puts it in her video.

A similar wreath is also available to buy at Michaels for $39.99, if you’d rather skip the labor of a DIY (no judgment!).
