Pillsbury has been the go-to brand for making quick and easy cinnamon rolls for as long as many of us can remember. And while there’s nothing wrong with baking them as intended, why not get creative and try something new? Even Pillsbury supports ignoring the instructions on the cans.

In a recent Instagram post, Pillsbury shared an ingenious hack for turning its Grands! Pumpkin Spice Rolls into a churro-inspired dessert. If you’re already reaching for your car keys to grab some dough and try it for yourself, just wait until you see how easy it is.

First, unroll the dough onto a cutting board or clean countertop. You’ll then have five long strips lying side by side. Cut these strips into four sections, then twist each piece to form 20 “spiral sticks.”

Heat up your air fryer to 325°F and grease the basket with nonstick cooking spray. Pop the twisted dough “churros” in, and let them bake for 10 minutes. Once they’re done, roll them in a mix of cinnamon and sugar while still warm, and voila! Piping-hot pumpkin spice churros! Use the icing that comes with them for a dipping sauce and you’ve got your new favorite dessert on your hands.

“This is like my dream come true,” wrote one fan in the comments. “Yes, please!! 🎃🧡🎃🧡🎃” said another. “Chef’s kiss just looking at this!!😍” commented a third. If you’re planning on hosting any parties this fall, these churros are a treat that your guests are definitely going to love. And if not, you probably won’t have any trouble eating a whole batch of pumpkin spice roll churros by yourself.
