As we transition to crisper autumn days and the leaves slowly begin to change, my go-to beverage switches to a chai latte (or a dirty chai if I need an extra boost of caffeine). Its warming spices of ginger, cardamom, nutmeg, clove, black pepper, and cinnamon is like a comforting hug in a mug. It practically screams FALL.

That same spice blend works wonderfully in desserts. I’ve had chai-spiced cupcakes, donuts, and ice cream before, all of which were delicious. It seems that Pepperidge Farm has also taken note with the introduction of its latest flavor: Milano Chai Latte White Chocolate Cookies

Obviously given my love of chai, I had to snag a bag to pair with my tea, and it’s easily become my favorite flavor the brand’s released yet.

What You Should Know About Pepperidge Farm Milano Chai Latte White Chocolate Cookies

This isn’t the first time Pepperidge Farm has released a cozy cafe-inspired cookie. The new limited-edition Milano Chai Latte cookies play off the success of fan-favorite Milano London Fog, which launched in 2024, and this year’s Milano Caramel Café au Lait. It also builds off the success of Milano’s dive into White Chocolate, which launched earlier this year. (The lemon flavor was superb.)

Milano Chai Latte White Chocolate Cookies replicate the flavor of the warming drink by blending notes of nutmeg, clove, cardamom, and black tea extract with white chocolate between two delicate wafer cookies. They’re also part of Pepperidge Farm’s Autumn Exclusives line, including Milano Pumpkin Spice and Pepperidge Farm Pumpkin Cheesecake cookies. The bags retail for $5.89 and are available for a limited time only at stores nationwide, including Meijer, Albertsons, Kroger, and online retailers like Amazon.

My Honest Review of Pepperidge Farm Milano Chai Latte White Chocolate Cookies

As soon as I opened the package, I was met with a delicious aroma of chai. The cookies smell just like a freshly brewed latte. In fact, the smell alone excited Mara, our director of Groceries & Shopping. “I can visualize the tea bags steeping and the pouring of the milk,” she said.

The taste is on par too. The delicate spices pair beautifully with the delicate, thin wafer cookies. While I’m typically not a big white chocolate fan, Milano seems to have won me over once again. The white chocolate is sweet, but not overpowering.

Plus, I think standard chocolate would dominate the delicate chai spices. It’s absolutely delicious, and I will be stocking up until stores run out of them. Ali, our associate editor, Groceries, also agreed, saying, “It tastes like fall. All that’s missing is a chai latte to dip one in.”
