One of my favorite ways to make a space feel like mine is with colorful accents, whether it’s in the form of decor or furniture. It’s even better when I find furniture I can decorate or customize with lots of personal touches. That’s why I love my lockers from Mustard Made so much. Not only can I get them in my favorite colors, but they effortlessly blend style and function by helping to keep my home clutter-free. You can find a locker for rooms of any size (even bathrooms!), but the one I recommend hands down for small spaces is the brand’s most compact offering: The Shorty.

What Is The Shorty?

The Shorty is Mustard Made’s mini locker, measuring just 18.1×13.8×28.3 inches. What makes it unique is that it’s designed for convenient bedside placement, giving you the choice of selecting a locker that opens to the left or right. For organized storage, The Shorty comes with two adjustable shelves and a hook. There’s also a hole in the back for cords, in case you use it for charging docks, gaming consoles, and other devices.

To prevent accidental tipping, Mustard Made recommends using anchoring hardware to keep the locker secured to the wall (not included). This no-drill, adhesive option is a good alternative for those in dorms and rental spaces.

Thanks to its metal build, The Shorty is entirely magnetic, allowing you to decorate it with all of your favorite magnets, photos, and more. The top can even be used to serve as a nightstand, coffee and tea station, or simply extra space to hold books, trinkets, and snacks. Featuring a sleek matte finish, The Shorty locker is available in an impressive 12 colors.
