I’m a major fan of all of the great candy holidays (Halloween, Easter, and, yes, Christmas) and the seasonal launches that come with them. With Valentine’s Day just around the corner, my eyes are locked in at the new releases in the candy aisle (particularly in the realm of chocolate) to gift my friends (and myself) during the holiday.

Wouldn’t ya know, M&M’s just released a new flavor that screams BE MINE: M&M’s Strawberries & Cream. The chocolate candies are unlike any other I’ve personally ever tried from the brand. Why is that? Well, the red and pink-colored shells are filled with white chocolate!

What You Should Know About M&M’s Strawberries & Cream

The M&M’s Strawberries & Cream hit stores earlier this month and are a limited-edition release for Valentine’s Day (meaning they won’t be here forever). M&M’s isn’t new to seasonal drops (I personally love and miss the M&M’s Pumpkin Pie from November!). This latest iteration surprisingly doesn’t include milk or dark chocolate at all. It’s made with smooth white chocolate and a strawberry-coated shell for a treat unlike any I’ve tasted before (although this seemingly hard-to-find plain white chocolate flavor does exist).

The Valentine’s-inspired M&M’s are available in 7.74-ounce bags and vary in price depending on location; you can expect to pay between $4.99 to $5.99. They’re still slowly rolling out at supermarkets across the United States and are already available in Target, Walmart, and Instacart.

My Honest Review of M&M’s Strawberries & Cream

I’ll cut to the chase because your time is valuable: These candies are good. In fact, they are absolutely delicious. I may even go as far to say that the M&M’s Strawberries & Cream are the best candy release of 2025 so far (and I know we’re only a few weeks into the year, but there have been dozens already!).

The center is filled with solid white chocolate that’s wonderfully smooth with hints of vanilla, and pairs delightfully with the crunchy-sweet strawberry coated shell. The strawberry is surprisingly strong (in a good way) and only amplifies the milky white chocolate flavor. It’s not the most obvious pairing for Valentine’s Day (chocolate covered strawberries, anyone?!), but strawberries and cream could easily be this year’s the one.

Buy: M&M’s Strawberries & Cream, $4.99 for 7.74 ounces at Target
