IKEA Just Released a Fun New Color of This Super Popular Table (It’s So Bold!)

IKEA is the perfect spot when you need something like a nightstand or a side table, and the chain’s popular $25 GLADOM table is a customer favorite (with more than 3,000 reviews, it’s rated 4.7 stars out of 5). So a brand-new color for IKEA’s GLADOM table is a very welcome addition.
Recently IKEA’s website listed a new “bright orange” color for this table, and it’s an exciting pop of color compared to the other offerings, like white, black, and gray-beige. Plus, you can easily customize this table to make it exactly what you need.
IKEA’S New Bright Orange GLADOM Table
Adding the new bright orange IKEA GLADOM table is an easy way to bring some fun, bold color to your space, whether it’s your living room or bedroom (or wherever you want to put it!). While the color says it’s “bright,” on the website, it definitely looks like a true orange hue, but because it’s a matte finish it’s not overly shiny or too “bright.” If you already own a GLADOM table in another color, you could even swap the bases and tops to do a mix-and-match situation — but it’ll also look great on its own.
Plus, it’s so versatile that it can function as a side table, nightstand, or even as a small coffee table.
How to Customize the IKEA GLADOM Table
If you want to try a fun DIY customization, you can create a mosaic on the GLADOM table top using tiles, mosaic glue, and mosaic grout.
For an easy DIY that brings big results, you can try this hack from @our_home_style_. In an Instagram video, the creator, Anna, shows off her simple and efficient way to upgrade the GLADOM table.
All you need to buy is the IKEA SKALA tray. Then, unscrew the top plate and place it at the bottom of the table, as a base. Attach the SKALA tray on top afterwards, and you’ll just have instantly leveled up your table.
If you’d like, Anna also recommends placing a wicker basket on top of the bottom plate as another way to make your table storage even cuter.
