These $7 Icon Glasses Look So Much More Expensive Than They Are (So Cute for the Holidays!)
One thing I’ve realized about myself is that I tend to drink way more water when my glass is cute (can you relate?). And for this upcoming year, like every one before it, my New Year’s resolution is to drink more water. So when I came across this TikTok video by @2.creatives showcasing all the holiday decor HomeGoods has in stock, I was super excited to see a drinking glass that I had to add to my collection.
The video shows some cute mugs and serving trays, but what really caught my eye were the glass icon tumblers. I searched on TikTok for a closer look at them, and found this video by Summer (@summerrawls), which zooms in even more on the adorable drinking glass options HomeGoods is selling.
They have so many cute designs, like mini gingerbread men, candy canes, little trees, and lots of bows. I love how the rims of the glasses are different colors; it makes for an extra-fun pop of color, whether it’s sitting on your desk or in your cupboard. They also come in a couple of different glass treatments, so you can choose between clear glasses with the mini icons embedded or a frosted glass finish.
In the comment section of her video, Summer confirms that she paid $7 for each glass, which is so much less than I’ve seen similar icon glasses priced at other stores. At that price, I’d get a set of festive glasses as gifts for my bestie or even to display on my coffee cart for the holidays. I can think of at least one gift exchange I am in that these would be perfect for, and I would even be able to buy a drink mix to go along with it while still staying within budget.
I think the ones with the candy canes and Christmas trees are my favorite, but the black bow-covered one also caught my eye. These would be cute for serving mocktails to friends, or storing Q-tips and cotton pads on my bathroom counter. I could even use one as a propagation station for my Pothos plants.
