When I think of fall drinks, a hot pumpkin-flavored latte with lots of cinnamon and frothed milk usually comes to mind. But one of Dunkin’s new drinks for fall 2025 reminds me of a different autumn vibe. After taking a sip of Dunkin’s new Iced Cereal N’ Milk Latte, I was reminded of fall mornings as a kid, slurping down the sugary cereal milk at the bottom of the bowl before heading to elementary school.

When I first saw the Cereal N’ Milk Latte, which dropped at Dunkin’ on August 20, on the Dunkin’ website, it didn’t immediately give me sweater-weather, cozy-drink vibes. Since few fall drinks are served iced, I had to know if it would be a new coffee to add to my rotation as the seasons change.

Check out what I really thought about the new Dunkin’ Cereal N’ Milk Latte (both hot and iced versions!) and whether either one is worth trying.

What Is the Cereal N’ Milk Latte?

This drink is “all about nostalgia,” according to a Dunkin’ press release. The latte is available both hot and iced, and features Dunkin’s signature espresso with a homemade cereal milk. According to Dunkin’,  the homemade milk is made with a marshmallow flavor and real cereal (the company lists “corn flakes” in the ingredient list). You can also add the new cereal milk as your “dairy” option to any drink.

I paid $6.04 for the small Iced Cereal N’ Milk Latte, and $5.74 for the hot version. Along with the two drinks, Dunkin’ also launched matching Cereal N’ Milk-inspired merch that’s giving Saturday morning cartoon vibes.

The new drinks are part of Dunkin’s fall menu that is available as of August 20, and it includes, in part, the new lattes, a Mixed Berry Refresher, and the returning Pumpkin Spice Signature Latte.

My Honest Review of Dunkin’s Cereal N’ Milk Lattes

Before trying either of the lattes, I first noticed an overpowering sweet smell as soon as I picked them up from the kiosk. I was a bit surprised when my name was called, because the iced latte truly just looked like a cup of milk. When I removed the lid on the hot latte, I only saw white frothy milk (even when I swished it around a bit).

Dunkin’ Cereal N’ Milk Hot Latte Review

I was a bit hesitant after seeing the drinks in person, because I usually prefer a bit higher coffee-to-milk ratio. I sipped the hot latte first, and was shocked by how much I enjoyed the taste. Even though it was very sweet and milky, it tasted like the gooey inside of a toasted marshmallow. Since it was hot, it just tasted like creamy marshmallow, not much like cereal milk.

A few sips of the hot latte was plenty for me — I couldn’t even finish a small size because of the extreme sweetness and creaminess, and I didn’t get any coffee flavors coming through.

Dunkin’ Cereal N’ Milk Iced Latte Review

As an iced coffee girly (yes, even in the winter), I was way more excited to give the iced latte a taste. Similar to the hot latte, the actual coffee flavor was missing from this sweet concoction, but it did taste a little bit like draining the last sips of milk from your cereal bowl.

My first thought was, “Wow, this would be such a great creamer in a cold brew.” So that’s exactly what I did.

When I got home, I used the Iced Cereal N’ Milk Latte as a creamer in my usual go-to coffee: bottled Starbucks iced coffee (yes, you can drink both!). Even though the new concoction I created only uses about half of the liquid of the small sized latte, I still smelled the sweet cereal milk aroma, and every sip was delicious. This combination tasted much more like a coffee-forward latte with a hint of cereal milk sweetness.

After trying both drinks, I still can’t tell which cereal the milk actually tastes like (though it apparently has corn flakes in it). Next time, I would get a cold brew or iced coffee from Dunkin’ and just ask for a splash of cereal milk — which I hope stays on the menu for good! — as a creamer. Or, I would get a second shot of espresso in the latte. That being said, I really liked both of these drinks more than I expected to.
