Not a day goes by that I don’t sip out of my Owala FreeSip. In my humble opinion, it’s just one of the best tumblers out there right now, thanks to the lid that locks firmly and easily in place, the built-in straw design, and, of course, the rainbow of incredible color combinations. I don’t feel the need to own more than one, but that doesn’t mean I haven’t been tempted by a fresh colorway before — and the brand drops new ones all the time.

But Owala’s newest release is about to be a little different: It’s a collab with Diet Coke, and the photos of these new products are beyond exciting. Here’s everything you need to know about it.

What Is the Diet Coke Owala Collab?

Launching exclusively at Target on November 30, according to a press release from Owala, the Diet Coke x Owala collab features four styles and two different kinds of Owala sippers — all designed specifically to hold carbonated beverages.

Each bottle will retail for $35 and will be available both in-store and online — just in time for holiday shopping, whether you’re putting it on your own wish list or buying a gift for your bestie. My friend always orders a Diet Coke when we go out and I think it’s so chic, so I’m planning to snag the Classic Diet Coke Stainless Steel Straw Tumbler for her as soon as it goes on sale, and pair it with a can of Coca-Cola’s latest vanilla-flavored holiday drink

If every version of you or your friend’s dream beverage lineup involves Coca-Cola of some sort, this collab is sure to contain your favorite new emotional support tumbler. The beauty of this collection is not only the retro graphic design, but also the fact that the bottles are all carbonation-friendly — so you can enjoy your Diet Coke all day long without it losing its fizz.

Of course, you don’t have to sip Diet Coke out of these. You can just as easily add your personal favorite carbonated drink, whether that’s seltzer or another soda, or even some good old-fashioned water. Plus, both styles are insulated (the Straw Tumbler has double-wall insulation, while the FreeSip Twist has triple-layer insulation) so your drink should stay cold for quite a while.

The first thing I ever said I wanted to be when I was young was an interior designer. But, after years of waiting by the mailbox for my favorite magazines and seizing every opportunity to write, I decided to pursue journalism. I started my career at Boston magazine, before pivoting into strategic communications, and coming back to journalism when I joined Apartment Therapy in 2022 — the perfect union of my childhood dream and adulthood passion. I edit the Life section, covering wellness, money, career, small-space living, mental health, and all the items, habits, hacks, and pro tips that can help you level up your life at home. I love peeling back the curtain on the myriad fascinating ways people live at home, and relish writing and editing narrative essays, special content packages, and stories that answer that question you’ve always had. When I’m not editing a feature or chasing a hot tip about how to live your best life at home, you can find me rearranging my furniture, perusing a local bookstore (even though I’ve run out of shelf space), writing a newsletter about overthinking pop culture, or taking a veryyy long walk around the city.
