I go to multiple concerts a year, and although scrolling through videos and pictures on my phone is one way to relive the memories, there are experiences that can’t be captured with tech that I don’t want to forget. For me, they include interactions with Katseye during a post-concert meet-and-greet (where phones weren’t allowed), or when I met the lead singer of The Paradox at a big music festival. There are only so many times I can replay those moments in my head before I go, “Okay, I need to write this down.”

Fortunately, I stumbled upon the Concerts Remembered Journal while browsing unconventional finds at Uncommon Goods, and it immediately caught my attention. I bought one as a gift for my brother, and couldn’t resist grabbing one for myself too — and I’m so glad I did. I’ve used it for nearly two years now to track every concert I’ve attended, from Beyonce to BTS, and I’m beyond convinced that it’s a must-have for music-lovers.

What Is the Concerts Remembered Journal?

The Concerts Remembered Journal is a slim 120-page notebook that helps you document up to 30 concerts. There are four pages per show, and each is packed with prompts that allow you to note the artist, venue, concert date, who you went with, seat location, ticket cost, opening acts, and more. Going a step further, there’s also space for you to recount your beloved concert moments, how you felt watching the show, the setlist, and your favorite song. You can even rate multiple aspects of the concert and decide whether or not you’d see the artist again. There’s also a blank “Memories” page that you can decorate however you’d like by adding photos, stickers, tickets, wristbands, VIP badges, etc.

Uncommon Goods offers one version of the concert tracker, but you can find additional formats (including hardcover and spiral-bound books) at ConcertsRemembered.com

Why I Love the Concerts Remembered Journal

Music is a huge part of my life, and many happy memories have been made while attending live shows. I love that the Concerts Remembered Journal is highly customizable and can be as detailed as you want it to be. It all comes down to how you want to express yourself. In a way, it also tracks all the different places I’ve visited and the friends I met up with along the way. It’s especially fantastic to finally have a place to put a lot of the fan-made freebies and confetti from concerts I’ve attended, too.

There are some artists I’ve seen over a dozen times and others I saw for the first time since having the journal, and being able to document that wide range of experiences has been so special. The setlist sheet is a convenient resource to make concert playlists whenever the mood strikes, and I love that I can recall how I felt before and after the concert in my own words. I can’t wait to fill up the journal and look back on all the great music I’ve heard in person over the years!

My professional writing career started in my days as a lifestyle and media blogger when I joined a magazine to cover Louisiana film, fashion, and entertainment. From there, I’ve been through a natural progression into gaming and tech content with The Nerd Machine, travel and food writing at Daebak and SnackFever, and a smorgasbord of lifestyle editorial content at Pinterest. Writing for the homespace at Apartment Therapy Media became a combination of all those things.Creativity and inspiration has always been central to my writing, whether it's an album review or a love letter to my favorite organization products. I love tapping into the everyday curiosity that drives someone to curate a space that truly embodies their vision, and where do we showcase that more than our own homes? A huge part of my role is testing products, which puts me at the forefront of trendy and innovative gadgets and gizmos to make life at home more fun and efficient. In my spare time, I’m often working on creative projects, watching K-dramas, playing video games, or spoiling my dogs. That’s if I’m not in the middle of planning my next trip for a concert, festival, or just to explore.
