If you’re anything like me, you meticulously decorate every inch of your space. I spend hours picking out the color of my bedding, displaying my wall art and trinkets, and making sure I’m sticking to my color scheme like nobody’s business. I leave my mark everywhere. But the fridge? I’ll admit that it’s usually an afterthought.

Sure, you can pick up some generic magnets, but now that I’ve seen this Tik Tok video by Mia Peppercorn (@peppercornimages) I can’t imagine decorating my fridge any other way.

In the video, Peppercorn and a friend pick up different colored clay and magnets from Michaels. Together, they make custom shapes including a goldfish, duck, grapes, and more by shaping the clay with their hands.

Once you’re happy with your designs, pop them in the oven to dry them out. According to the comments, Peppercorn baked the clay in the oven for 12 minutes at 275°F. Once they’re out of the oven, apply some Mod Podge to the clay using a paint brush to make each item shine. This isn’t included in the video, but you can super-glue a magnet piece to the back of each clay figurine so they’ll actually stick to your refrigerator.

The creative possibilities are endless. You can make a clay magnet of your family pet, or mold a miniature of your favorite food. You can even create emojis or your favorite characters out of clay. You could also host a themed craft night and trade designs with your friends at the end.

This project can easily complement other DIYs like these vintage fridge picture frames, too.

No matter what you come up with, these clay creations are the perfect way to ensure that every inch of your space is infused with your personality.
