If you want to spice up your space for the holidays but you’re looking for decorations with the lowest possible lift, TikTok is here for you. I spotted the cutest bow garland hack that literally requires one item: pipe cleaners!

In a video that’s received more than 39,000 views, TikToker @ohheyyitstayyy showed off how to assemble the sparkly garland with the caption: “This pipe-cleaner bow garland was so easy to make! I’m going for a very tinsel Christmas this year and can’t wait to show you all how I’m planning on using this garland.”

The TikToker began by twisting silver metallic pipe cleaners found on Amazon into bows and then attaching them to each other by twisting a smaller piece of pipe cleaner between each of them to connect two together at a time — ingenious! The end product is an adorably uniform line of festive bows.

The fun thing about pipe cleaners is how easy they are to bend into different shapes and wrap around things, like curtain rods or doorknobs. One TikToker even commented about how they made a bow garland for a Christmas tree with this method, to which @ohheyyitstayyy replied, “Aww I love that! I made some extras to wrap gifts with too🥰”

They also come in all the colors of the rainbow. I even found this holiday-themed 400-piece pipe cleaner pack on Amazon for $16.99. In other words, you will be set for the rest of the season — you can make *a lot* of decorations with 400 pipe cleaners!
