I have lived in my fair share of apartments with tiny kitchens (and dorm rooms that don’t have kitchens at all). Something I’ve learned from those experiences is to think smarter about appliances I use in those small spaces and scale down the sizes of my coffee maker, cookware, and so much more. Walmart has a ton of great options for small-space-friendly appliances that won’t break the bank, so I rounded up 10 of my favorites for under $100 that you can shop now — without sacrificing efficiency or taste.

Rise By Dash Mini Rice Cooker
$36$32

This mini rice cooker makes up to 2 dry cups of rice and is your foolproof route to getting it perfectly fluffy with little effort and zero expertise. This little appliance came in handy when I moved into my first apartment, and I’ve even gifted three of them to friends and family since then.

Keurig K-Mini Mate Single-Serve K-Cup Pod Coffee Maker
$100

Keurig’s new K-Mini Mate is a great option for those low on space. This single-serve coffee maker measures just 4 inches wide and makes drinks up to 12 ounces. And yes, you can use travel mugs with it, too.

$100 at Walmart
Dash MultiMaker Mini Waffle System
$24$19

As someone who owns multiple Dash waffle makers, the MultiMaker Waffle System has been a game-changer for saving cabinet space. Instead of getting a new appliance to get a different waffle shape or design, this MultiMaker uses removable plates that work on the same base. With this set, you get plates for traditional waffles, character waffles, and a griddle for pancakes and eggs.

Hamilton Beach Personal Blender
$19

An older version of this Hamilton Beach blender was my go-to in college, and my dad continued to use it for years. It’s budget-friendly and efficient, and you can use it to make a great smoothie before you head out for the day! Since it uses a leakproof travel cup for blending, you can make your drink and take it on the go.

$19 at Walmart
MyMini Premium 7-Egg Cooker
$13

In my opinion, a mini egg cooker is so much more convenient than boiling eggs on the stove — and when you don’t have a stove, this alternative becomes even more necessary. With this MyMini appliance, you can make soft, medium, and hard-boiled eggs in addition to poached and scrambled eggs. You can also use this handy device to steam vegetables, dumplings, and more.

$13 at Walmart
Crock-Pot Lunch Crock Food Warmer
$46

This stylish and portable Crock-Pot food warmer has a 20-ounce capacity and comes in four chic colors. You can use it to heat up leftovers, canned soups and pasta, chili, and more. It comes with a detachable cord and removable storage container, and it features a tight-sealing lid to prevent spills if you take it on the go.

$46 at Walmart
Hisense 1.6 Cu Ft Single Door Mini Fridge
$129$98

At less than $100, this mini fridge can hold a 2-liter bottle of soda on the door along with all the food, drinks, and snacks you’ll need. There’s even a mini freezer compartment for frozen treats and an adjustable thermostat.

$98 at Walmart
Aroma Housewares Whatever Pot
$59

The Aroma Whatever Pot is all over my TikTok feed for good reason. It’s a grill and a hot pot, which means you can make everything from at-home Korean barbecue to your favorite fall soups. Its stackable design also means storing this appliance won’t be a hassle.

$59 at Walmart
Beautiful 1-Liter Electric Gooseneck Kettle
$33

This sleek Beautiful Electric Kettle is great to have on hand for coffee, tea, ramen, and so much more. Available in eight colors, this 1-liter kettle features a modern design, stainless steel build, no-spill spout, and auto-shutoff.

$33 at Walmart
bella 4-Slice Slim Toaster
$33

I know what it’s like to have to pick and choose which appliances I can have out on this counter, and this Bella Slice Slim Toaster makes it an easy one to have out on display. Its narrow design means that it can fit in tight spaces when not in use, and the long slot makes it possible to fit a variety of bread sizes.

I love tapping into the everyday curiosity that drives someone to curate a space that truly embodies their vision, and where do we showcase that more than our own homes? A huge part of my role is testing products, which puts me at the forefront of trendy and innovative gadgets and gizmos to make life at home more fun and efficient. In my spare time, I’m often working on creative projects, watching K-dramas, playing video games, or spoiling my dogs. That’s if I’m not in the middle of planning my next trip for a concert, festival, or just to explore.
