About Me

Hi! I’m Charli and I cover the secrets to better living and hosting at home, which include cleaning and organizing, entertaining, wellness, real estate, travel, and beyond. I always wanted to be a writer, just like my mom. I landed my first magazine job before graduating college and I’ve been a print/digital journalist for more than 20 years. I began my editorial career covering entertainment and then quickly discovered my passion was unlocking the secrets to a healthier, happier life at home with those we love, so I began to focus on reporting on relationships, wellness, travel, and lifestyle.

My career has been spotlighted in the New York Times and Forbes and I’ve been an on-air personality and repeat guest, discussing things I love (like organizing and cleaning), on the TODAY Show. When I’m not writing or editing, I’ve moderated lifestyle programming at conferences and festivals with thousands of attendees, hosted travel and food TV series and a Webby-nominated lifestyle podcast, and interviewed icons like Oprah and Prince Harry.

I love discovering simple ways to get more out of life — at home, at work, or on the go — and when I’m not out and about you’ll find me spending quality time with my husband and dogs, sitting pretty in my garden, or hosting themed gatherings for family and friends.
