About Me
Having worked at an independent bookstore through high school and now hostessing at a local restaurant serving up hushpuppies, grits, and gravy, Caida is into studying the literature and culture of the American South — how food and fiction are important forms of artistic communication! At UNC, she enjoys being involved in environmental justice work with the CompostMates club and scoring a booth table at the library. In her free time, currently, she is learning to crochet a stingray stuffed animal and watching Arcane.
