Luckily, TikTok is here to save the day once again. In a recent video, user Tina Le Mac (@tinalemac) shows viewers how just one Amazon purchase allowed her to disguise her cords, while also elevating the decor in her space.

In the video, Tina’s caption says it all: “POV: You found the most clever and stylish way to hide your ugly cords.” The clip shows Tina unboxing Amazon’s Book Shape Decorative Cable Management Box. 

Disguised as chic coffee table books, these small boxes are hollow in the middle and feature enough room to fit a sizable power strip you can use to plug in phone chargers, a lamp plug, and more. The box has a cutout in the back that allows the cords to dangle behind your nightstand or end table or wherever you’ve placed it, without cluttering up your tablescape. The books close using magnets, which assures that your cords will remain concealed, but the box can still be easily opened. When it’s all sealed up, it’ll simply look like you have new stacks of books decorating your space.

The reviews on this product attest to its high quality and impact when it comes to decorating a room. Reviewers say the books are “durable,” with one user saying that she even placed a heavy lamp on top of her box, and it didn’t even bend.
