This Stylish Decor Hack Is the Perfect Solution for Boring Dorm Walls (It’s Only $4!)
Artwork instantly transforms a plain room into a personalized space, but sourcing and hanging that art — especially as a gallery wall — can be intimidating. What colors should you use? What size art do you want to include? What tools do you need to hang your artwork? There’s a lot to consider!
Thankfully, you can find design kits that give you a shortcut to a just-as-gorgeous gallery wall result. On July 17, Aldi dropped its version of a gallery wall bundle, the Huntington Home Wall Collage Kit. It sells for $3.99 in Aldi stores and, in addition to 140 double-sided mounting stickers, comes with 30 unique cardstock posters (each 6 inches wide by 8 inches high), according to an Aldi spokesperson. The premade kit even comes in four different design aesthetics: vibrant, pastels, greenery, and black-and-white.
According to the product listing images, the vibrant posters feature funky designs like melting smiley faces and bright pink and yellow hues. With more subtle blue and pink colors, the pastel art uses images like iridescent floating bubbles. You can go bold with the greenery, which offers nature images, including a peacock feather and a waterfall. Finally, the black-and-white posters have options like a stark staircase and the Eiffel Tower.
Each aesthetic offers something different, so you can stick with a single color palette for your gallery wall, or get creative by mixing and matching among them. With 30 posters (and 140 mounting stickers), you can also switch from one design to another whenever you want to refresh your space!
If you don’t live near an Aldi or your store doesn’t have the Huntington Home Wall Collage Kit, Five Below sells a similar version online for $4.
